This position is the Section Supervisor of the Cashiering section in Business Tax. This person oversees daily accounting duties of the Cashiering Section, including entering and approving SAM II deposits, bank corrections and processing transfers between the various tax systems. This person also completes and validates reports to ensure the correct allocation of fund, verify electronic and manual deposits and ensure the files are transferred properly and timely each day. This person must pay close attention to detail and have the ability to locate and rectify any issues associated with discrepancies or balancing issues. This is a demanding position that requires flexibility to ensure all tasks are completed and monies deposited timely. They must also communicate well with staff, management and other parties such as the staff at Central Bank, the State Treasurer's Office and the Fiscal Services Office and prioritize items timely and efficiently.
