Appellate Counsel: The Missouri Department of Revenue General Counsel's Office has an immediate opening in its Jefferson City office for a Missouri licensed attorney to work on appeals of alcohol-related driver license enforcement actions in the Missouri Appellate Courts. This position will be responsible for drafting and editing briefs, researching issues involving intoxication-related traffic offenses, and working with the General Counsel and Attorney General’s Office to develop the Department’s overall appellate strategy. Excellent demonstrated research and writing skills are required. Prior clerkship experience is a plus. This position is funded by a grant ending on September 30, 2019, with the possibility of further one year extensions. Starting salary is $45,000 plus full state benefits.
